I've used some diamonds for the negotiation quests but overall I've still got a net profit from itĭepends on the age of your city and the GBs you have available. I've lost count the amount of times I've got diamonds from the event so far.

For someone that has played for several years and is basically waiting for content soon after the last batch is released, this is an absurd statement to have to make. I have prided myself on successfully completing all events, it is rather disappointing that suddenly, after years of playing, that I will not be able to complete this event. I really think that NPC's should have 0% boosts, enough players have ridiculous boosts, there's no need for the NPC's to also have them, let the mild pacifists have a chance (it's especially difficult for those JUST reaching a new age before the event starts).

I would do the fighting, BUT I cannot win 5 battles in a row when the NPC's have power and defense boosts twice what I have. However, having to now finish the first difficulty is impossible for me as I do not, nor will I have the diamonds or resources necessary to complete. I decided to take the negotiations throughout the event as that was more my play style. I am not a fighter in the game, but I will when necessary. I don't think I'm going to build it though since I'm limited in space and it still looks the same level of not as cool as it always did.I can't physically pass #49 'Till Death Do Us Part'. but with them adding a supply boost, it becomes more intriguing. LOL The Haunted Tower was in my town for a long time, but I stored it because it was only giving me happiness and didn't look as cool to me for that alone. The Dark Doorway might also get built for the forge points, even though I don't really need them either.

I'll probably build it for looks since I don't really need the production in a 4x4 specifically. because it looks really cool (they offered it several times for real money, but I resisted the urge). I've been wanting a Mad Scientists Lab since I started playing. Since I can't get the Necropolis this year (because I can only upgrade two more times and would need three to get there), I might put it in inventory. Joined the game just as the Halloween event kicked off two years ago, so I managed to get my first Graveyard then. I've had an Ancient Graveyard since last year.
